I knew from an early age that I was instinctively a caregiver. My special pride in caring came at an early age, it was caring for my hero, my granddad. Caring for him came natural for me as I helped the aides in providing him with care. It was in Florida I went to school for nurse aide and I recognized that Caring was my God given talent. I would nurse and nourish people back to health or/and until their time on earth was up. I touch lives; caring for others became my being, it came so natural and it felt so good to care for others in their homes and any place called home or even a short stay in the hospital. It felt instinctively good and I did it to the best of my ability. I provided care from my heart, having a passion for care like I do, feels great. While caring for a retired physician in Florida he recognized my talent and encourage me to open my own care provider service. This physician also noticed my ability to identify signs and symptoms of illnesses and told me to go back to school to become a Registered Nurse. The clinical demands of nursing were not for me.
As my reputation spread, neighbors of family member whom I took care of began asking me for referral to caregivers of similar values. Having been born to a family of successful entrepreneurs, I knew it was time to open my own home care agency where I could provide like minded caregivers to those in need. I started my agency; Certified Home Care of Georgia in 2009. I have a gift to identify and screen the right caregivers to make wonderful matches. I search for caregivers with a passion to care, dedication, mannerism and knowledge.
Certified Home Care of Georgia differentiates its self from our competitors, we do this by listening keenly to our customer’s needs, by demanding a standard of care from each caregiver, by following up with each client and our closeness with each caregiver. Remuneration to our caregivers is higher than competing agencies, in order to secure and maintain caregivers who will live up to my standards; I called these standards- The Certified Standards.
